A few years ago, I bought what has turned out to be one of my most used and favorite sewing tools...my Janome 300E embroidery machine. I can find something that is very inexpensive, and once I embroider a name, or whatever, on it...it becomes a great gift for someone. I found these very cute aprons at Target around Valentine's Day. They are going to be worn by my granddaughters when we make our gingerbread houses for Christmas. They have muffin-shaped chef's' hats with cherries on top..very cute! I also make a lot of Santa hats each year. Scroll down to see the quick transformations!
Very cute! I have always thought about getting an emb machine, but never have. Hmmm..maybe one day. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kimberly, how precious! You do great embroidery.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
If I could do that, I am afraid I would never be off of the machine...love it so much
ReplyDeleteCute aprons!! Don't forget about my handkerchiefs. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kimberly...Nice to meet you and your emb. Machine!!!!!! How wonderful is that! Love all your projects.. Years ago I belonged to an Embroiderers Guld...We did every thing by hand...( we were nuts back then)! This machine is fabulous! Enjoyed my visit...thanks for stopping by...loved your visit too! xoxo~Kathy @ Sweet Up-North Mornings...

Hi Kimberly!
ReplyDeleteLove those cupcakes! Charming!
love kelee STOP BY!
Well isn't that a helpful little tool! I use to embroider by hand, and thoroughly enjoyed it, but I have arthritis from various hand and thumb surgeries, which makes it hard. These are very cute and the children will love it!

Those aprons look awesome! They look like you paid a professional to embroider. I might have to invest in one of those!!

Very cute, I know they will love those.
ReplyDeleteOk, you made me do it. You went and made me gasp out loud as I scrolled down your post and saw the first apron.
ReplyDeleteI love it!!!
Love those cute little cupcakes!
I also do hand embroidery and made a cupcake tea towell for my oven door last winter.
It sparked a whole obsession with making cupcakes. Now you got me going again. I want a cupcake! :D

The aprons are darling!!! And so is the Santa hat. I wish I had an embroidery machine. It does make everything more special when you personalize it. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for visiting my blog & leaving me a comment.
